+for minimum npm install do this
+`apt install npm --no-install-recommends`
+
+also install pm2
+`npm install pm2@latest -g`
+
+before doing this so `apt update` for indexing
+

+when extracting tar.gz use this
+`tar -xzvf filename.tar.gz` and when only .tar then use `-xvf` and dont use `z`.

+`tar -xzvf example.tar.gz -C /path/to/destination/`

+to copy everything including root files do this
+`cp -r /source/directory/* /destination/directory/` : this will copy regular files
+`cp -r /source/directory/.* /destination/directory/` : this will copy dotfiles
