+- sometimes there is mismatch in app id for filename of .desktop at `usr/share/applications` and what kde is trying to look for 
+  its simple really. click on titlebar, more -> special application settings -> down there, there is a "add property" button -> search for desktop file name and click on that, first click on "force temporarily" and set it to "sublime_text_3" (click apply then) and then set it to "remember" (and click apply)
