We have proudly maintained and defended a free, reserved, autonomous and above all partisan infrastructure.<p>For us <strong>to remain human</strong> is not a simple slogan. <p>It means that, first of all, it is the users, the people who build the human networks to which we rely and the communities that have flooded us with messages and love and solidarity, which must be protected. <p>We cannot accept a clash or lend ourselves to instrumentalizations that endanger their lives, the lives of their loved ones, leaving them at the mercy of autocrats, fascists and agencies acting by extra-legal means. The concrete possibility of being able to be the cause of criminal or financial consequences for someone close to us, or who even interacts with us does not allow us other choices. <p><strong>A/I closes. The Autistic/Invented collective closes and will suspend all short-term services.</strong> <p><strong>There is no easy way to say it or explain it.</strong> <p>Every day we stayed online starting August 26 was a win, but we have to stop today.<p>None of us have sympathy for heroic gestures and least of all for the martyrs, so we will not do it and we will not ask for it. In this climate, continuing to offer our services is only one more danger to our users, and to all the people who are part of our communities. In a world of accusations unrelated to the facts we can only expect further disproportionate repression. This puts us in front of the impossibility of maintaining our original project: offering safe and uncommodified tools.<p><strong>It's been 25 years. It was a “good story.”</strong> <p><strong>Now drop the PC, go out, fight, hug and don't lose your smile. Because we stop. But resistance and ideas don't. We remain human.</strong><p>We will soon explain how to save the content of blogs, emails, sites and other technical suggestions.
