• for property of label element is useful for pointing to input element using its id for eg:

  <input type="file" id="actual-btn"/>
  
  <!--our custom file upload button-->
  <label for="actual-btn">Choose File</label>
  

  Now when the user clicks on label will ask for uploading file too just like we click on input
