- Installation
|
|
`yay -S waydroid` (AUR package)
|
|
- Prerequisite
|
|
As arch linux default kernel arent supported by waydroid so install another one ie `linux-zen` and its headers
|
|
`yay -Ss linux-zen linux-zen-headers`
|
|
Now create initrd by (in arch it is mkinitcpio)
|
|
`mkinitcpio -p linux-zen`
|
|
Then finally include it in grub file by
|
|
`grub-mkconfig -o /boot/grub/grub.cfg` and `reboot`
|
|
and in `Advanced options for arch linux` select `linux-zen` kernel
|
|
- Initialization
|
|
Run `sudo waydroid init`
|
|
It will check in the directory `/usr/images/waydroid-extra/images` if image and vendors are installed or not. If not installed then it will install them of lineageOS in the directory `var/lib/waydroid/images`
|
|
Make sure that `waydroid-container.service` is started
|
|
`sudo systemctl enable --now waydroid-container`
|
|
- Usage
|
|
Starting waydroid session
|
|
`waydroid session start`
|
|
Then in another terminal type
|
|
`waydroid show-full-ui`
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
