proton doesnt fare well with mid or low end gpus though (when it comes to games like elden ring or counter strike)

i have an i7 with a 1060 and i cant even get counterstrike or elden ring to run without lowering the resolution to 180p and still getting stutters and low fps (while on windows they ran just fine on low-mid graphics)

and yes i tried options like gamemoderun, gamescope, and even got protonGE and nothing really changed sadly lmao
Windows relies on directx while Linux relies on vulkan
