• Updating system and refreshing package cache sudo pacman -Syu

• Installing build tools and git sudo pacman -S --needed base-devel git --needed is useful to not reinstall already installed packages

• Building yay git clone https://aur.archlinux.org/yay.git cd yay makepkg -si

• If u dont wanna build then

    git clone https://aur.archlinux.org/yay-bin.git
    cd yay-bin
    makepkg -si
